Where Hampton Compares Party Bus Rentals
norfolkpartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website — not a bus company, not a motor carrier. It doesn't own a single vehicle. What it does is connect Hampton-area trip planners with a network of transportation providers serving Hampton Roads so you can compare vehicle types, passenger capacities, and pricing side by side without calling a dozen companies.
Here's how it actually works: fill out one quick form with your date, group size, and pickup location, and you'll see available options from providers serving Hampton and the surrounding Peninsula. No account required, no obligation, and pricing shows up in under 30 seconds. If you'd rather talk it through, call 948-298-6020 any day of the year — someone is available to walk through options and build a package around your specific itinerary.
Whether your group is heading to a Norfolk Tides game at Harbor Park, a wedding at Bluebird Gap Farm, or a late-night crawl through Phoebus's bar strip, norfolkpartybuscompany.com makes it easy to find the right size bus at a price that works. That's it — no upsells, no complicated process, just options.
Hampton Charter Bus & Party Bus Rentals for Your Group

Your Hampton Bus Rental With Popular Amenities
The right bus depends on what the trip actually calls for. A 15-passenger party bus typically comes with color-changing LED lighting, a premium sound system, and wraparound perimeter seating — a solid pick for a birthday night through Phoebus or a bachelorette crawl along Mercury Boulevard. Step up to a 30-passenger bus and you'll generally find a full-length bar setup and flat-panel TVs included.
For corporate shuttles between Hampton's research corridor and downtown Norfolk, a minibus with reclining seats, climate control, and overhead storage tends to be the right call — more maneuverable than a full charter bus on Hampton's tighter streets. Full-size charter buses add undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms, which matters on longer runs to Richmond or out to Virginia Beach. Amenities vary by vehicle, so comparing options through the site lets you match the bus to the event rather than guessing.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats
AUX / Bluetooth Sound System

Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. To confirm the exact amenities included with a specific vehicle offered for your trip, call 948-298-6020 before booking.
How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Party Bus in Hampton?
Hampton party bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, the day of the week, and how long you need the bus. To give you a planning baseline: a 15-passenger party bus runs roughly $200–$350/hour on weekdays and $250–$350/hour on weekends. A 25-passenger bus runs $250–$375/hour on weekends.
Full-size charter buses generally land between $200–$350/hour, with per-day rates in the $1,350–$2,850 range for longer commitments.
Those are planning ranges — the actual rate for your date and itinerary moves with demand, and Hampton Roads event weekends like NASCAR races at Richmond Raceway, major ODU football games, or Harborfest week in Norfolk can push availability thin fast. The fastest way to get a real number is to fill out the form or call 948-298-6020. Pricing for your specific trip takes about a minute.

See Hampton Party Bus Options in One Place
Because you're not locked into one company's fleet. norfolkpartybuscompany.com pulls from a network of providers serving Hampton and the wider Hampton Roads region — which means if one vehicle type is unavailable on your date, you're comparing other options rather than starting your search from scratch.
Hampton's geography creates real transportation headaches that most trip planners don't anticipate. Interstate 64 through Hampton funnels nearly all peninsula traffic into a handful of interchanges near Mercury Boulevard and Settlers Landing Road — on event days at the Hampton Coliseum, that stretch can back up for 45 minutes before a single car reaches the parking lot. The Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel adds another variable: a 25-minute backup on a normal afternoon can easily become 75 minutes on a Friday before a sold-out show.
A bus doesn't fix the tunnel, but it does mean your group is together, comfortable, and not managing five separate rides through it.
Quotes are free, no account required, and available any time at 948-298-6020. The whole process — from filling out the form to comparing vehicles — takes under two minutes.
Explore Available Hampton Party Bus Services
norfolkpartybuscompany.com helps Hampton groups find transportation for every occasion — airport runs, concerts, corporate shuttles, weddings, prom, sporting events, pub crawls, and more. Whatever brings the group together, there's a vehicle in the network sized for it. Call 948-298-6020 or use the online form to compare options and get pricing for your specific date.

Hampton Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) (900 Bland Blvd, Newport News, VA 23602) sits about 12 miles from central Hampton — manageable on a clear afternoon, a real scramble if your group is flying out on a Friday during summer beach season on I-64. For groups flying into Norfolk International Airport (ORF) instead, that ride runs 25–35 minutes under normal conditions, longer when the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel backs up.
The smarter move for any group of 10 or more is one bus to one terminal rather than coordinating multiple car pickups across two different arrivals curbs. Have the group assemble and collect bags first — then the bus moves to the curbside pickup zone. Don't stage the vehicle before the group is ready; airport curbside dwell time at PHF is actively enforced.
See the full airport transportation guide for ORF pickup logistics, or call 948-298-6020 to plan your airport transfer.

Hampton Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Phoebus — Hampton's walkable entertainment district anchored along Mellen Street — is the Peninsula's best-kept open secret for bar crawls. The stretch runs from craft cocktail bars through live music spots within a few walkable blocks, making it a natural bachelorette-party circuit without the Virginia Beach congestion. After Phoebus, the night typically extends across the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel to Granby Street in Norfolk or Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach.
That bridge crossing is where the night gets complicated without a bus — surge pricing spikes late on weekend nights, and rideshare availability across the tunnel is genuinely unreliable after midnight. A Hampton bachelorette party bus with LED lighting, a premium sound system, and wraparound seating keeps the whole group together from the first Mellen Street stop through the last Norfolk call — no frantic group-chat coordination at 1am. Call 948-298-6020 to plan your night.

Hampton Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A milestone birthday in Hampton — whether it's a Sweet 16, a quinceañera, or an adult celebration — gets a lot more memorable when the transportation is part of the event. A Hampton birthday party bus seating 18 to 40 passengers picks up the group, handles the route between the venue and the after-party, and brings everyone back at the end of the night — no one playing coordinator, no one left scrambling for a ride.
Popular celebration venues in Hampton include the Hampton Roads Convention Center (1610 Coliseum Dr, Hampton, VA 23666) for larger quinceañera receptions, and Bluebird Gap Farm (60 Pine Chapel Rd, Hampton, VA 23666) for outdoor daytime celebrations. Weekend party bus rates for an 18-passenger bus run $275–$400/hour — for a group of 18, that's often less per person than the cost of two rideshare trips round-trip. Use the online form to compare vehicle sizes and pricing for your date.

Hampton Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The Hampton Coliseum (1000 Coliseum Dr, Hampton, VA 23666) is the Peninsula's anchor concert venue — a 13,800-seat arena that hosts touring acts year-round. The problem is the surrounding interchange. Coliseum Drive feeds directly onto I-64 via a single exit, and after a sold-out show, rideshare pickups stack along Coliseum Drive and the surrounding surface lots for 30–45 minutes.
Groups who drove in face the same crawl getting back onto the highway.
A charter bus or party bus drops the group curbside before the show and stages nearby — so when the last encore ends, your bus is already positioned rather than 20 minutes out in a surge-priced queue. For concerts at The Vanguard in Norfolk or shows at Chrysler Hall, a minibus through the Downtown Tunnel is the right call — compact enough for the tight loading zones on St. Paul's Boulevard. Call 948-298-6020 to lock in concert transportation.

Hampton Corporate Event Transportation
Hampton's economy runs heavily on federal research and defense contracting — NASA Langley Research Center, Langley Air Force Base, and the National Institute of Aerospace all sit within a few miles of each other along the Hampton corridor. Shuttling conference attendees or employee groups between those facilities and downtown Norfolk hotels on I-664 without bus transportation means coordinating a caravan across the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, where a single lane closure can add 40 minutes to a 15-minute trip.
A corporate charter bus or minibus keeps the full group on one vehicle and on one schedule — no waiting for stragglers, no expense reports for parking across two campuses. For smaller executive transfers between Hampton and the Norfolk Waterside District, a Sprinter van handles the route without the overhead of a full-size coach. Call 948-298-6020 to discuss Hampton corporate shuttle packages and group rates.

Hampton Private Event Transportation Services
Hampton's event calendar creates several windows where private group transportation becomes the only sane option. Harborfest — Norfolk's massive annual waterfront festival held each June — draws crowds to the downtown Norfolk waterfront and creates standstill conditions across the Downtown Tunnel and the HRBT for hours before and after the fireworks finale. Groups coming from Hampton who drive themselves routinely report 90-minute waits just to get back across the water.
The Hampton Jazz Festival, held annually at the Hampton Coliseum in late June, sells out the 13,800-seat arena and floods Coliseum Drive and Mercury Boulevard with traffic for a full weekend. A private charter bus from Hampton stages ahead of the post-show crunch rather than sitting in it. For family reunions hitting multiple Hampton and Virginia Beach stops in a single day — Air and Space Center, Buckroe Beach, Fort Monroe — a charter bus with undercarriage storage keeps the whole group on one plan.
Call 948-298-6020 to discuss your event date.

Hampton Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Hampton City Schools — including Hampton High, Kecoughtan High, Phoebus High, and Heritage High — all hold prom in the April–May window, and demand across Hampton Roads peaks hard during that six-week stretch. Availability across the network for party buses in the 15–30 passenger range gets thin by February for May prom dates. Book by January if your prom is in May — waiting until March typically means premium pricing or zero availability in your vehicle size.
Hampton homecoming season runs September through October, with lighter competition for dates but still worth locking in 6–8 weeks ahead. A Hampton prom party bus in the 20–25 passenger range is the most popular size for school groups — roomy enough for the full friend group, compact enough to navigate residential pickup blocks without a staging issue. Call 948-298-6020 early so you're not working with whatever's left.

Hampton School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Hampton is home to some of the most unique school field trip destinations on the East Coast — which also means some of the most complex logistics for teachers trying to move 40 kids without a bus. The Virginia Air and Space Center (600 Settlers Landing Rd, Hampton, VA 23669) is the official visitor center for NASA Langley Research Center and sits right on the Hampton waterfront. Parking near Settlers Landing is metered and limited, and the surrounding streets don't accommodate yellow school buses easily during peak tourism months.
A Hampton school field trip charter bus with overhead storage for backpacks and lunches, onboard climate control, and a PA system makes the logistics manageable — and for longer runs to Colonial Williamsburg (about 25 miles west on I-64) or the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, onboard restrooms on select full-size coaches eliminate the mid-highway stop. ADA-accessible buses are available through the network; mention the requirement when you request your quote at 948-298-6020.

Hampton Sporting Event Transportation
Hampton Roads sports fans face a structural problem: the region's major venues are scattered across multiple cities connected by two tunnels and a bridge-tunnel, and post-game rideshare availability across those crossings is genuinely unreliable. Norfolk Tides games at Harbor Park (501 Park Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510) draw Hampton fans who have to cross either the Downtown Tunnel or the HRBT to get there — and after a night game, rideshare queues at Harbor Park can run 20–30 minutes before you even clear the waterfront.
A Hampton sporting event charter bus to Harbor Park drops your group steps from the main entrance off Park Avenue and handles the post-game tunnel run while the group unwinds. For ODU Monarchs games at S.B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, or basketball at Chartway Arena, the same logic applies — one bus, one plan, no tunnel anxiety. Check the Harbor Park bus guide for specific drop-off and parking details, then call 948-298-6020.

Hampton Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Wedding venues around Hampton tend to be spread across the Peninsula and the Southside — Fort Monroe's Officer's Club, Bluebird Gap Farm, and the Hampton Roads Convention Center on the Hampton side; the Norfolk Botanical Garden and Chrysler Museum on the Norfolk side. Asking out-of-town guests to navigate the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel on a Saturday evening, find parking, and coordinate their own arrival at a venue they've never been to is a real ask — especially after the ceremony.
A Hampton wedding shuttle bus running between the hotel block and the venue removes that entire variable. A minibus fits most hotel-to-venue shuttle loops cleanly — comfortable reclining seats, climate control, and enough room for the full guest count without three separate trips. For the bridal party itself, a 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the pre-ceremony run in style.
Weekend minibus rates start around $200–$275/hour. Call 948-298-6020 to lock in your wedding date — popular Saturday dates in May, June, and October book out months ahead.

Hampton Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Virginia Peninsula wine and craft brewery scene has grown steadily over the last decade, and a Hampton-based tour can cover real ground without anyone getting behind the wheel. Forge & Grape (1 Towne Centre Way, Hampton, VA 23666) inside Peninsula Town Center is a popular starting point. From there, the logical circuit runs north toward Tradition Brewing Company (500 E Main St, Smithfield, VA 23430) in Isle of Wight County — about 35 miles across the James River Bridge — and east to Young Veterans Brewing Company (518 Central Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
A Hampton winery tour bus handles the routing across the James River Bridge, through Suffolk, and back across the Hampton Roads crossings without anyone doing the math on who drew the short straw. A 20–25 passenger party bus is the most popular size for this circuit — enough room for the group, compact enough to park at smaller tasting rooms. Use the online quote form to price the route for your date.

You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is norfolkpartybuscompany.com?
norfolkpartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation in Hampton and the Hampton Roads region. It is not a bus company and does not provide transportation — it connects trip planners with a network of providers serving the area so you can compare vehicle types and pricing in one place. No account required, no obligation, free quote by phone at 948-298-6020 or online anytime.
How does norfolkpartybuscompany.com work?
Enter your trip details — date, group size, pickup and drop-off locations — into the quick online form. You'll see available vehicle options from providers serving Hampton and the surrounding area, with pricing and pictures side by side. If you'd rather talk through the options, call 948-298-6020 any day of the year and a support team will walk you through what's available and build a package around your itinerary.
How much does a party bus cost in Hampton?
Hampton party bus prices vary by vehicle size, day of week, and trip length. As planning ranges: a 15-passenger party bus runs $200–$350/hour on weekdays and $250–$350/hour on weekends; a 25-passenger bus runs $250–$375/hour weekdays and $275–$375/hour weekends; a full-size charter bus runs $200–$350/hour with per-day rates from $1,350–$2,850. These are estimates — the real rate for your date and route is available in under a minute at 948-298-6020 or through the online form.
See full ranges on the party bus prices page.
Do I need to cross the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel — and does that affect pricing?
If your trip crosses the HRBT or the Downtown Tunnel — heading from Hampton to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, or Portsmouth — that routing is typically factored into the trip package rather than added as a separate line item. Just include your full pickup and drop-off locations when you request a quote, and the rate you receive will reflect the actual route. Don't assume a Hampton-to-Norfolk trip costs the same as an in-city run; always request a quote based on your actual itinerary.
What's the best vehicle size for a Hampton Coliseum concert?
For most concert groups of 10–25 people, a 20–25 passenger party bus is the right fit. It's large enough for the group but compact enough to navigate Coliseum Drive without staging issues. For groups of 30–50, a 40-passenger party bus or a full-size charter bus handles the headcount and gives you undercarriage storage for any gear.
If the group is heading across the water to a Norfolk venue afterward, confirm the vehicle can accommodate the tunnel routing — most do, but it's worth mentioning when you request your quote.
Can a charter bus get onto Fort Monroe for a wedding or event?
Fort Monroe (access via Ingalls Road, Hampton, VA 23651) is a National Monument and active mixed-use development with controlled access points. Commercial vehicles, including charter buses, may need to check in at the visitor access point. If your event is at a Fort Monroe venue — the Chamberlin Hotel, the Officer's Club, or one of the historic buildings — confirm access requirements with your venue coordinator ahead of time and include that detail when you request your transportation quote.
Giving the provider advance notice of access requirements avoids day-of complications.
What happens if my flight into Newport News is delayed?
PHF is a small regional airport with a relatively compact arrivals process, which actually works in your favor when flights run late — there's less chaos than a major hub. That said, if your group's flight is delayed, communicate with your transportation provider as soon as you know. Once you're connected with a provider through norfolkpartybuscompany.com, you'll have direct contact with them, so schedule changes can be addressed directly.
Always confirm the communication process when your booking is confirmed — don't assume the vehicle will automatically monitor your flight status.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Hampton events, booking 4–6 weeks out secures solid availability and pricing. For peak-demand dates — Hampton Jazz Festival weekend in late June, Harborfest in Norfolk, prom season (April–May), and any home game weekend at the Hampton Coliseum — book 2–3 months ahead. Prom is the exception: availability in the 15–30 passenger range across Hampton Roads gets genuinely thin by February for May dates.
Prom groups should call by January. The earlier you call 948-298-6020, the more options you're working with.
Popular Hampton Party Bus Destinations
Hampton sits at the tip of the Virginia Peninsula with quick access to Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, and the Eastern Shore — which means a bus itinerary can cover real ground. Here are six destinations Hampton groups hit most often, with the logistics that matter for each one.

Virginia Air and Space Center
The Virginia Air and Space Center (600 Settlers Landing Rd, Hampton, VA 23669) is the official visitor center and education hub for NASA Langley Research Center, displaying more than 100 air and spacecraft including a lunar sample and the Apollo 12 command module. The museum sits directly on the Hampton waterfront at Settlers Landing — a picturesque location with a real parking problem. Street parking along Settlers Landing Road is metered and extremely limited, and the nearest surface lots fill fast on weekends.
A charter bus drops the group at the main entrance on Settlers Landing Road, stages nearby on Armistead Avenue, and eliminates the parking math entirely. Group rates are available through the museum for 20+ visitors; book those separately from transportation at (757) 727-0900.

Hampton Coliseum
The Hampton Coliseum (1000 Coliseum Dr, Hampton, VA 23666) hosts 13,800 fans for concerts, family shows, and major sporting events — and its interchange with I-64 is one of the worst post-event bottlenecks on the Peninsula. The single Coliseum Drive exit feeds directly onto the interstate, and after a sold-out night show, rideshare apps regularly show 30–45 minute waits before pickup. Surface parking around the Coliseum runs $10–$20 depending on the event, and the closer lots sell out for major acts.
A charter bus or party bus sidesteps the rideshare queue entirely — the vehicle drops at the curbside approach on Coliseum Drive, stages in an adjacent lot during the show, and is positioned for immediate departure when the show ends. Check the official Hampton Coliseum website for event-specific parking advisories before your visit.

Fort Monroe National Monument
Fort Monroe (30 Ingalls Rd, Hampton, VA 23651) occupies the tip of the Old Point Comfort peninsula — a 570-acre National Monument that is the only active moated fort in the United States. It served as a place of freedom for enslaved people during the Civil War and now houses the Casemate Museum, the Chamberlin Hotel, and a growing collection of restaurants and event venues. Access to Fort Monroe runs through a controlled entry point, and parking inside the fort is limited to surface lots that fill fast on summer weekends when the beaches draw crowds.
A party bus or minibus handles the approach on Ingalls Road, drops the group at the interior destination, and stages in designated vehicle areas. For wedding groups using the Chamberlin or other fort venues, confirm commercial vehicle access with your venue coordinator in advance at (757) 727-3391.

Buckroe Beach
Buckroe Beach (100 S 1st St, Hampton, VA 23664) is Hampton's public oceanfront park — a wide sandy beach on the Chesapeake Bay with a pavilion, concert bandshell, and seasonal events including the Buckroe Beach Concert Series held on Friday evenings through the summer. Parking at Buckroe is free but limited to the surface lots near the park, which fill to capacity on summer Friday evenings well before the 7pm concert start. Late arrivals end up parking blocks away in residential streets and walking in.
A party bus drops the group at the park entrance, covers the return run back to Hampton hotels or onward to Phoebus, and eliminates the parking hunt entirely. For concert series dates, check the City of Hampton's Buckroe Beach page for the current lineup.

Bluebird Gap Farm
Bluebird Gap Farm (60 Pine Chapel Rd, Hampton, VA 23666) is a free City of Hampton park with farm animals, picnic areas, and a children's playground — a popular destination for school field trips, family reunions, and birthday celebrations with younger guests. The farm sits off Pine Chapel Road near Langley, with a surface parking lot that handles standard vehicles but can create staging issues for full-size charter buses during busy weekend events. A minibus is the smarter pick for Bluebird Gap Farm — smaller footprint, easier to maneuver in the parking lot, and typically sufficient capacity for the school and birthday groups that use the farm most.
The farm is free to enter but closes during inclement weather; confirm hours at (757) 727-6347 before your trip.

Phoebus Entertainment District
Phoebus is Hampton's historic neighborhood entertainment district, anchored along Mellen Street between downtown Hampton and Fort Monroe. The strip has evolved into the Peninsula's best bar-crawl circuit — live music venues, craft cocktail bars, and restaurants within easy walking distance of each other in a neighborhood that still has the feel of a real community rather than a tourist development. Parking in Phoebus is street-only, and on a busy Friday or Saturday night the residential blocks around Mellen Street fill up fast.
More importantly, Phoebus is just the starting point — most groups continue to Norfolk's Granby Street or Virginia Beach's Atlantic Avenue later in the night, which means crossing the HRBT after midnight when rideshare availability thins out. A party bus parks near Mellen Street for the Phoebus portion, then handles the tunnel crossing on one coordinated schedule rather than five separate rides. Call 948-298-6020 to build the full Peninsula-to-Southside itinerary.
